Q: Sounds great! How do I enter the raffle?

A: There are several different ways to enter the raffle. I’m looking to build up my facebook and twitter fanbase while also accumulating reviews of my books. Contribute to those and you will earn entries into the raffle.

Q: So what exactly do I have to do to earn entries?

A: Here’s a complete breakdown of the points system:

• 1 point: ‘like’ me on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/dwaindangersmith) and post on the fan page’s wall (I have no other way of knowing you liked me!).
• 1 point: follow me on twitter (@dwainsmith).

• 3 points: post a picture of you and one of my books on my facebook fan page.
• 3 points: submit fan art for any of my books on my facebook fan page.
• 5 points: post a review of any of my four books (Bullheaded, Fleeced, The Junk Whisperer, or The Supervillain’s Guide to Philanthropy) on Goodreads.
• 5 points: post a review of any of my four books (Bullheaded, Fleeced, The Junk Whisperer, or The Supervillain’s Guide to Philanthropy) on that book’s Amazon page .
• 5 points: post a review of any of my four books (Bullheaded, Fleeced, The Junk Whisperer, or The Supervillain’s Guide to Philanthropy) on your personal blog.

Q: How many times can I enter?

A: You can like me on facebook once and follow me on twitter once. You can retweet the promo tweet above 3 times, but each tweet must be at least 3 days apart. You can post 1 photo or piece of fan art for each of my books. For reviews, you can review each book once, but you can post that same review to multiple sites – so if you review Fleeced and post it on your blog, on Amazon, and on Goodreads, you get 15 points. Likewise, if you review Fleeced, Supervillain’s Guide, and Junk Whisperer on Amazon, you get 15 points. Make sense?

Q: What if I’ve already liked you, taken pictures of a book, written a review, etc?

A: Sorry, but no grandfathering points. You need to be a new twitter follower, facebook liker, reviewer etc. There are plenty of ways to enter and so no one should be ineligible at this point.

Q: When does this contest run?

A: From 7PM EST on 8/24/11 through 7PM EST on 9/14/11 (so three weeks)

Q: How do I make sure my entry has been counted?

A: If your entry deals with facebook or writing a review – please post a message to my facebook fan page wall. If you are posting a review, please post a link to the review. As long as you include me @dwainsmith in the tweet or retweet I should get you into the scorebook. If you have a question about your score, tweet or facebook me and let you know how you are doing.

Q: Are there any other prizes?

A: Yes! In addition to awarding the grand prize winner with a Kindle + Fleeced + Bullheaded, two runners-up will receive copies of Bullheaded (they can choose between Kindle and print).

Q: Any other fine print?

A: Yeah, why not? The Kindle in question is the “Wi-Fi, 6″ E Ink Pearl Display” version listed here. In order to be eligible, all entries must be still valid at the end of the contest period (if you got an entry for following me on twitter you must be still following me on twitter at the drawing time in order to be eligible, etc). if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments field below.
